Please ensure that you have carefully and closely read these Terms and Conditions before selling your items with Mobiceller.You should understand that by posting your items you agree to an obligation to these terms and conditions. Please understand that if you do not accept these terms and conditions, you cannot sell your items to Mobiceller.

We may alter these terms and conditions from time to time if the industry requires them to be reviewed and changes need to be made in legislation, regulations or the standards as required by the industry.


Contract- is formed between you and Mobiceller as set out in these Terms and Conditions for the sale, recycling, or return of your Item, as applicable.

Postage/Package- Delivery service you use or we provide, parcel/box you send your item into us.

Recycling- the disposal of an item that is no longer in use or unwanted.

“Us”/ “we” or “our” refers to Mobiceller.

“You”/ “your” means the individual/person who wishes to use, uses or has used this website to send an item to be purchased by Mobiceller or recycled as set out in these terms and conditions


Mobiceller guarantees that any information you provide is stored safely and in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Your use of the website implies consent to the collection and use of your data as specified in the website's Privacy Policy. Our systems and data are regularly monitored and updated to provide our customers with the highest quality service possible.


This website is intended for public use, and we make every effort to ensure it is accessible 24/7. However, we cannot be held responsible if the website is unavailable at any time, for any reason. If the site is temporarily down, it could be due to technical issues, routine maintenance, repairs, or circumstances beyond our control.


The information on this website is provided for general knowledge and is subject to change without notice. We do not provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness, or suitability of the information and materials found on this website for any particular purpose. We are not liable for any inaccuracies or errors in the information and materials on this website to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If you have any disputes related to the use of this website, they will be subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.


Our website is intended only for individuals who are registered with us and residing in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. We reserve the right to accept or decline orders from individuals outside of these territories at our discretion.

Once we receive your order, a contract will be formed between us and you, which will include these terms and conditions as well as our terms of use. Please refer to the "How It Works" page for additional information.

You must be the rightful owner of any phone(s) that you send to us. Ownership of the phone(s) will transfer to us upon our receipt of the phones, in accordance with these terms and conditions, and upon our dispatch of payment to you.

We offer customers the option to use our prepaid postage Royal Mail label to send their devices, but we advise using a postage service that ensures the device's appropriate value for any high-value items. We are not responsible for any devices that are lost in the post, including those sent by customers or those returned as part of a return.

The contract between us and you is binding, as well as any respective successors and assigns. You cannot transfer, assign, charge, or dispose of a contract, or any of your rights or obligations under it, without our prior written consent. We reserve the right to transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract, or dispose of a contract, or any of our rights or obligations under it, at any time during the contract's term.

If a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of these terms and conditions invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which will remain fully in force and effect. Only the parties to these terms and conditions can enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.


You have the right to cancel the contract with us before sending us the phone within a certain time frame ("cooling-off period"), as long as the contract was made through remote communication methods like phone, fax, or email, you are an individual not acting for business purposes, and you inform us in writing or email within three days of receiving any new offer from us or prior to any new order.

You do not need to provide a reason for cancelling during the cooling-off period, and there will be no administration charges.

We can cancel the contract if the phone(s) you send us do not meet the description or the terms and conditions specified in the contract.

Unless the phone(s) fail to meet our terms and conditions, you cannot cancel the contract after sending the phone(s) to us (outside the "cooling-off period").

Please ensure that you are willing and authorised to send the phone to us before doing so.


When you make an order on our website, you guarantee that:

  • ● You are a resident of Great Britain or Northern Ireland.
  • ● You are accessing our website from one of those countries.
  • ● You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
  • ● You are the registered and legal owner of all the items you submit during the sales order.
  • ● You have the right to transfer the unencumbered legal title and full ownership to our company, and that the goods are free from any outstanding debts, potential debts, or any other liability associated with them.
  • ● You are acting on your own behalf and without any pressure, and not for someone else's benefit.
  • ● The items do not have any undisclosed physical defects or problems.
  • ● The information you provide during registration is completely true and accurate.
  • ● Your possession of the items does not result from any illegal activity in the United Kingdom or elsewhere.
  • ● The sale will not make our company breach any applicable laws, including anti-terrorism or anti-money laundering laws.
  • ● You are at least 18 years old, or if you are under 18 years old, you have obtained parental or guardian consent to sell the phone to us
  • ● You and your parents or guardians release us from any liabilities or claims that may arise if you sell the phones to us in breach of this warranty.

If you are a consumer, any provision of this contract that is ineffective for a consumer will not apply. Your statutory rights are not affected by this contract.

For the purpose of these terms and conditions, "consumer" refers to an individual who does not make this contract in the course of a business, and does not hold himself/herself out as doing so, as defined by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.


When you make an order on our site, you confirm that:

  • ● You have the authority to act on behalf of the registered business.
  • ● You are located in either Great Britain or Northern Ireland.
  • ● You are accessing our site from within that region.
  • ● You have the legal capacity to enter into a contract that is binding.


If your mobile phone does not meet our criteria for a Brand New, Working/Used, or Faulty/Broken mobile phone condition(s), we may offer you a reduced price for it on a case-by-case basis. We will contact you and give you 72 hours to accept our revised price offer or arrange for the return of your item free of charge (if the device matches the condition). If you decline the revised offer, we will return the device to you as HSO unless you request otherwise.

You have the right to reject our offer within 72 hours. If we don't hear from you within this time, we will automatically make the adjustment and process the payment. If we test your device and find that it doesn't correspond to the condition it was sold under or has a major fault, we may revise the price offered. If you want the device returned, there will be an admin charge of up to £25. If you don't reclaim the device within 3 days, we may pay the adjusted price or recycle the device free of charge if it has no recycling value.

Please note that we will recycle any boxes and accessories that you send with your order and they will not be returned.

It's important to make sure that the handset(s) you send meet our requirements to avoid disappointment.

If you send us any stolen, blocked, counterfeit, or fake devices, we will hold them and report them to the police. No payment will be made, and the device(s) will not be returned.

Any devices sent to Mobiceller that do not have a cash back value will be recycled in an environmentally-friendly way.


The prices listed on our website may change without warning. Once you place an order, the prices quoted will remain valid for 7 days from the date of confirmation, or from the date that you print a freepost label. However, if your phones are received more than 7 calendar days from the "issue letter date", the updated prices will apply. If we receive a different device from the one registered online, we will process the order based on the received device rather than the registered device.



Boxed sealed from the manufacturers, unopened and in its original packaging.

  • ● The phone must be in its original packaging, sealed and unopened from the manufacturer. It must be completely unused, in perfect working condition with no faults, and not activated.
  • ● The device must be an original UK/European specification and meet the manufacturer's original standards.
  • ● The SIM and memory card should not be glued in, and there must be no calls or personal data saved on the phone with a zero call timer.
  • ● If there are any calls made or received, the phone will be classified as used.
  • ● The phone should not have any marks or scratches on the body or screen, and all protective screen seals must be intact and show no signs of use.
  • ● The phone must be free of any finance and checked against the database.
  • ● The box should be original and not damaged, ripped, or generated, with an IMEI that matches the phone.
  • ● All unopened accessories such as the battery, charger, headphones, and user manuals must be included and completely unused.
  • ● If the manufacturer or service provider provided a memory card or stylus, they should be included as well.

If Mobiceller finds any sale submission conflicting with its original order status. i.e. Sold as Brand New, boxed sealed but after testing has been opened and or activated, we shall tell you this and supply you with the fault reasons and a revised price for your device(s) by email & text. You will have 3 days to accept or decline our offer by emailing us with the subject Accept/Decline revised price. If you do not reply within 3 days, we shall process your order at the revised price.


In order to determine the value of your used mobile phone, we will assess its functionality through testing and assign it a grade using our grading system.

Grade A - Excellent

  • ● Handset powers on and is fully functional
  • ● Excellent Cosmetic Condition
  • ● Show no signs of usage/ no deep or light scratches
  • ● No cracks, dents, scuffs, missing paint, pressure marks, screenburn or dead pixels
  • ● Home button, Touch ID, Face ID and NFC all function correctly
  • ● Battery health 90% or above
  • ● Volume levels must not be static or low (devices that have this issue will be categorised as non-working and the offer will reflect the cost to repair).
  • ● Have all original Apple parts – any counterfeit parts will reflect in the offer
  • ● No service messages or faulty buttons or jailbroken.
  • ● PLEASE DO NOT SEND accessories or the original box as we will not be able to return them.

Grade B - Good

  • ● Handset powers on and is fully functional
  • ● Good cosmetic condition
  • ● Up to 3 very light scratches on the screen
  • ● Up to 3 very light scratches on housing and camera surround
  • ● Some very light scuffs and light missing paint
  • ● No cracks, dents, pressure marks, screenburn or dead pixels
  • ● Home button, Touch ID, Face ID and NFC all function correctly
  • ● Battery health 85% or above
  • ● Volume levels must not be static or low (devices that have this issue will be categorised as non-working and the offer will reflect the cost to repair
  • ● Have all original Apple parts – any counterfeit parts will reflect in the offer
  • ● No service messages or faulty buttons or jailbroken.
  • ● PLEASE DO NOT SEND accessories or the original box as we will not be able to return them.

Grade C - Average

  • ● Handset powers on and is fully functional
  • ● Moderate cosmetic condition
  • ● Moderate Scratches over 5MM / deep scratches
  • ● Moderate dents, scuffs or missing paint
  • ● No cracks, pressure marks, screenburn or dead pixels
  • ● Home button, Touch ID, Face ID and NFC all function correctly
  • ● Battery health 80% or above
  • ● Volume levels must not be static or low (devices that have this issue will be categorised as non-working and the offer will reflect the cost to repair).
  • ● Have all original Apple parts – any counterfeit parts will reflect in the offer
  • ● No service messages or faulty buttons or jailbroken.
  • ● PLEASE DO NOT SEND accessories or the original box as we will not be able to return them.

If Mobiceller identifies any discrepancies in the sale submission, such as a phone being listed as functional but being found faulty during testing, we will notify you of the issue and provide an explanation of the fault along with a revised price for your device(s) via email and text message. You will be given a 3-day window to either accept or decline our revised offer by emailing us with the subject line "Accept/Decline revised price". If we do not receive a response from you within 3 days, we will proceed with processing your order at the revised price.


Every damaged device will undergo an internal assessment of a 53-point test, which will categorise the device into one of two groups: D, BER (Beyond Economical Repair)

Grade D - Faulty

  • ● Be intact and not crushed, broken in half or bent in any way.
  • ● Handset powers on and is functional
  • ● Have a fully working home button, touch ID and Face ID
  • ● Be complete with the battery
  • ● Not having missing components such as camera, LCD etc.
  • ● Not have any liquid or water damage.
  • ● Not be beyond economical repair.
  • ● Not have previous repair attempts.
  • ● Must be able to be activated.
  • ● Typically Faulty or Damaged phones include software issues, broken LCD screens, faulty charging ports, heavy scratches, cracked screens, faulty speakers, faulty microphones etc.
  • ● If we are unable to wipe your device (e.g. due to non-power up etc.) we may be able to recycle your device but unfortunately, we will not be able to offer any value
  • ● We cannot buy your Handset if it is Barred; FMI or account locked; has been tampered with or is missing internal components.

Grade BER:

  • ● Devices not intact and falling apart completely
  • ● Face ID or Touch ID Not working
  • ● Water damaged
  • ● Device will not power on
  • ● The expense of fixing the device is not financially feasible as it exceeds the recycling value of the device.
  • ● We will make an effort to provide a revised price for devices categorised as BER (Beyond Economic Repair), whenever feasible. In instances where it is not viable to provide a revised price, such devices will be recycled free of charge using the most environmentally friendly method. If a customer is dissatisfied with the revised price, they must request the device to be returned within 3 days, and a £25 administrative fee will be charged for returning any BER device.

Mobiceller reserves the right to retract any offer made if the device subjected to testing is later found to be significantly different from its initial cosmetic or hardware condition. In such cases, we will inform you of any inconsistencies and propose a new price. If these discrepancies are discovered after payment, Mobiceller will make arrangements to recover the funds from all parties involved. If you request the return of a device that does not meet our terms and conditions, grading system, or has failed testing (for example, a device that you listed as brand new boxed but is used, or a used working device that is a grade C instead of a grade A, or a device that is faulty and categorised as BER), we will charge up to £25 to return the device.


If the mobile phone model you sold to us is not identical to the one you originally sent, we will contact you via email to confirm the correct model and offer you a revised payment. If we don't receive a response from you within 3 days, we will automatically update the model and process your payment accordingly.

Please note that counterfeit mobile phones, which imitate products from another company and violate copyright laws, will not be returned and will be disposed of in accordance with proper procedures.


If your phone is protected by a PIN or Password, please remove them before sending the phone to us. We will try to contact you for the PIN or Password if we are unable to test your phone due to these security measures. If we do not receive a response from you within 2 working days, we will process the phone with a reduced value as we are unable to fully test its functionality.


We will not be held accountable for the security, protection, confidentiality, or usage of data. By sending your mobile phone to us, you are agreeing to release us from any claims, losses, or damages related to the data stored on the phone or any accompanying media. Any data discovered during testing will be erased.


We will not be held responsible for any charges incurred on SIM cards sent with the mobile phone, whether before or after the receipt of the phone


We strive to process payments for your mobile phone within 24-48 hours of testing, excluding weekends, subject to meeting our terms and conditions. However, during peak times, payment may take up to 5 working days, excluding weekends and national holidays. Please ensure that your details are accurate, as we will not recall or reissue payments once they have been made. Payments are non-transferable, and we reserve the right to withdraw offers without prior notice. Once payment is made, ownership rights for the product will transfer to Mobiceller, completing the sales contract. It is the Seller's responsibility to provide truthful and accurate information to the Company, and the Seller warrants that all information provided in the Submitted Sales Enquiry is without error or omission. The Company cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided by the Seller.


If you opt for payment through PayPal, it's necessary to have a functional PayPal account. We cannot be held responsible for payments made to customers who provide incorrect PayPal account information. Additionally, Mobiceller is not accountable for any PayPal fees that you may incur since the payment method is chosen by the seller, and they are responsible for any fees associated with it. We cannot retrieve or reissue PayPal payments once they have been made.


Our service includes complimentary inbound postage through the Royal Mail 24® Tracked Service. You won't have to pay anything to send your device to us, and it's fully traceable from the moment you hand it over to the post office. We also offer a freepost service that comes with free tracking and provides up to £100 of coverage for loss or damage.

We suggest that customers use a special delivery service if they are sending high-value devices, as it can provide insurance of up to £500 or more, depending on the device's value. We strongly advise you to send your device with additional insurance through postage if it is of high value, but the choice of service is entirely up to you. We cannot be held accountable for any inferences you may draw while making your decision.

Please note that Mobiceller bears no responsibility or liability for any devices that are lost during the postal process. We assume responsibility for the device only after receiving it on our premises and are not liable for any devices that are lost in transit back to the customer. It's recommended that you seek advice from your local Postal Office regarding proof of posting and insurance. We can return devices at the customer's expense if they require a special delivery service.


Mobiceller cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage sustained by mobile phones before they reach our business address. We recommend that customers use the provided content and adopt additional protective measures to ensure the safety of their items during transit, minimising the possibility of damage.

Our service does not guarantee that the devices will be damage-free in transit. In the event of any damage during transit, we will return the devices to the customer so that they can file a claim for the loss directly with Royal Mail. However, by returning the device to the customer, Mobiceller cannot guarantee that the claim will be successful and cannot be held liable or provide assistance for claims that are denied by third parties. We recommend that customers contact Royal Mail to familiarise themselves with the claims process in case the need arises, although it is unlikely.


We will keep you updated on the progress of your order by sending emails and, if you select the option, text messages. We ensure that all email notifications are sent successfully, but we are not responsible for any emails that are not received due to incorrectly spelled email addresses, spam filters that redirect or delete them.


We cannot return mobile phones that are sent to us and are accepted at the full price or after a customer agrees to a lower mobile phone value. Any blacklisted devices will be isolated and disposed of responsibly. Devices that do not meet our terms and conditions of sale will be charged an administration fee of £10 for their devices to be sent back to them.


We have the right to notify the appropriate authorities if we suspect any fraudulent activity. Additionally, if a phone is reported lost, blocked, or stolen by the seller after receiving payment, we reserve the right to reclaim any money paid to the seller or business.

Any device that arrives blacklisted will be carefully assessed and addressed on a case-by-case basis.


You may print and download parts of this website for personal use, as long as you don't change any of the documents or graphics, and you include any copyright and trademark notices. We own the copyright and other intellectual property rights for all the material on this website, and you are not allowed to use any extracts from this website for any other purpose. If you violate any of these terms and conditions, your permission to use this website will automatically end, and you must delete any downloaded or printed extracts. You are not allowed to reproduce or store any part of this website on any other website or electronic retrieval system without our written permission. We reserve all other rights not explicitly granted in these terms

These terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be exclusively heard in English courts. The Company does not guarantee that products for sale on the Website are suitable or available for use outside the United Kingdom. It is prohibited to access the Website from areas where its content is considered illegal or unlawful. If you choose to access the Website from a location outside the United Kingdom, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for ensuring that you comply with local laws.
